Employers Take Notice of Certified Professionals
The designations of Certified Return to Work Coordinator (CRTWC) and Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP), administered under the auspices of the International Disability Management Standards Council (IDMSC), are increasingly becoming the gold standard in disability management practice worldwide. ISSA and Rehab International Sign Tripartite Agreement with the IDMSC
It took five days of intense negotiation this October in Düsseldorf, Germany and when it was done, the Geneva-based International Social Security Association (ISSA) had signed a milestone three-year agreement with the IDMSC to promote the IDMSC’s standards to its 330 member organizations in 153 countries. As significantly, Rehabilitation International (RI) was the third signatory to the tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will bring the IDMSC’s standards to RI member organizations in 100 countries. IFDM 2012
Building on the highly successful IFDMs held in Canada in 2002, the Netherlands in 2004, Australia in 2006, Germany in 2008, and Los Angeles in 2010, the torch has now been transferred to the United Kingdom for 2012.
